The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has moved its National Executive Council (NEC) scheduled for tomorrow Thursday October 24, 2024 to a further date.
According to a statement by chairman of the body Bala Mohammed, the decision for the shift was reached in an enlarged meeting on Tuesday evening by the party’s Governors’ Forum..
The meeting had in attendance, members of the Board of Trustees (BoT); National Working Committee (NWC); National Assembly Caucus and Forum of former Governors.
Bala, announced that the meeting has been rescheduled for November 28, 2024.
According to the statement “The postponement is to ensure that the party goes into the forthcoming Ondo gubernatorial elections of November 16, 2024 with the unity and strength demanded to unseat the floundering All Progressive Congress, APC government in the state.”

Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum, has dismissed a report that its Chairman Gov. Bala Mohammed filed a suit against the party National Executive Council (NEC) meeting.
In a statement issued by the Director-General of PDP-GF, Dr Emmanuel Agbo in Abuja, he described the report as ”dubious, malicious and attempt to smear the character of Governor Bala Mohammed.
