The Bola Tinubu Administration’s 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) Program is a step in the right direction toward tackling Nigeria’s youth unemployment problem.
The minister of information and national orientation, Mohammed Idris, presented the program, which aims to create three million employment, on Monday, August 12, during the Nigeria Police Youth Summit in Abuja.
Under the leadership of Mallam Jibrin Baba Ndace, the Director General of Voice of Nigeria, the Minister emphasized the administration’s dedication to youth development as a vital component of the country’s progress.
“The 3MTT Programme is an affirmation of President Tinubu’s vision of factoring youth development into the overall national development strategy,” Idris said

Idris claims that the program is a component of the larger “Renewed Hope Agenda,” which also includes the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFund), a financial assistance program for students.
Along with addressing the high cost of transportation in the nation, the Minister emphasized the President’s establishment of the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) scheme.
Through the use of Nigeria’s plentiful gas resources, this approach is anticipated to result in a 70% reduction in transportation costs.
IDris urged young people in Nigeria to fully utilize these government programs in order to advance both personally and economically.
In order for young people to fulfill their responsibility to the country’s security, he also urged a moral reorientation and issued a warning against the propagation of false information.
According to Idris, “the renaissance in national security intelligence cannot come without the necessary value reorientation,” highlighting the significance of a robust national value system in defining Nigeria’s identity and bolstering the role of its citizens.
