Nigeria has once again been plunged into darkness as the national grid recorded another collapse
According to the official X account of the national grid, the incident happened around 2:09 pm on Tuesday.
It is on record that the nation’s power grid witnessed a series of collapses last month.
Recently, nine northern states were plunged into darkness as the National grid collapsed again.
The National grid has collapsed at least eight times within this year.
The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC, EEDC has also informed its customers “of a general system collapse that occurred at 13:52 hours today, 5th November 2024. This has resulted in the loss of supply currently being experienced across the EEDC network.”
Head, Corporate Communications, EEDC, Emeka Ezeh, signed the notice Tuesday afternoon.
He said, “Consequent, upon the development, all our interface TCN stations are out of supply, and we are unable to provide services to our customers in Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, and Imo States.
“We are on standby awaiting detailed information about the collapse and restoration of supply from the National Control Centre (NCC), Osogbo.
