By Idris BubaAkwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, has dissolved his entire cabinet, citing the need to bring in fresh faces and professionals to drive the state’s development agenda.
The governor, announced the dissolution on Friday during a valedictory session at the Exco Chamber in Uyo.
Eno who praised the outgoing commissioners for their hard work and dedication, said that none of them underperformed during their tenure.

“All of you have delivered, and that’s why the Arise Agenda has succeeded, but we must come to the end of a season, start another season, and keep moving.”
It on record that most of the commissioners had been in office for almost 10 years, with some serving under former Governor Udom Emmanuel.
Majority of commissioners and advisers who served under former Governor Udom Emmanuel, were retained by Governor Eno to allow them to complete their tenure as compensation for their services and support.
