As the father of Chief Michael Onuoha (Eririe Ego Igbonile/Ide Nwangele), a prominent figure in Nigeria’s Oil & Gas sector, Pa Onuoha’s legacy of noble accomplishments continues to inspire.
In remembrance of his father’s life, a series of memorial events spanned from December 24th to 29th in Imo State, southeast Nigeria. The commemoration began with a golf tournament and concluded with a church outing service.
The grand ceremonies attracted dignitaries and celebrated the impactful life of Pa Onuoha. Kicking off the week-long festivities, a memorial golf tournament was held on December 24th at Arsenal Golf and Country Club, Obinze, Owerri. This annual tournament, organized in honor of Reverend Onuoha, highlighted his dedication to community service and passion for golf. Top golfers from across Nigeria participated in the event.
A highlight of the celebrations was a polo competition, reflecting Chief Michael Onuoha’s deep appreciation for sports as a means of fostering unity and leadership.
The week culminated with a formal church service at St. Michael and All Angels Church, Eziama Isiala Mbano, followed by a grand reception at the Chief Michael Onuoha Estate—Casa de Garcia, Duruokwara, Umuokwara Iheoma, Umunakara, Nwangele LGA.
