The Abig Nwankwo Foundation concluded its annual football competition with a thrilling grand finale in Okija, Anambra State. The tournament, designed to empower youth, foster community spirit, and discover emerging talent, is a key initiative of the Foundation’s commitment to community development.
The grand final match attracted notable dignitaries, including renowned entrepreneur and Chairman of Cubana Group, Chief Obinna Iyiegbu. Supporters and guests from across the Southeast gathered to celebrate the event and honor the organizer, Chief Sir Abig Nwankwo, Chairman of Bigly Group and a distinguished indigene of Okija.
Speaking at the event, Chief Nwankwo described the day as a remarkable milestone.
- “The grand finale of this football tournament is a celebration of teamwork, talent, and community spirit. Watching the incredible energy on the field and the passion from the crowd reminded me why we started this initiative,” he said.
